Volunteers are valuable members of the organisation. Giving their time they encourage and assist in a wide range of the projects which Dengie Project Trust have developed to support people aged 50+ to live rich and fulfilling lives.

Each volunteer has individual interests and skills that can make a difference to someone’s life. If you have an hour or more, a day or more or can help now and then, do get in touch. Opportunities are endless, here are but a few:-

• Walking a dog or taking a cat to the vet
  
• Shop for someone who has just returned home from hospital
  
• Host our Wellbeing suite and make a newcomer feel welcome
  
• Run a Quiz in the Day Centre
  
• Help with afternoon tea at the Tea Dance
  
• Share how to email and keep in touch with family and friends
  
• A regular telephone call – make a difference to someone’s day
